What a joyous time in our lives. As a hobby fiber artist (I knit, sew and weave) I’m stoked to be making this very untraditional dress. 😍🥰

    My daughter is making my dress from a pattern from 1949, I’m so excited. She might be more excited than I am though!

    Very cool! Are you sewing it, and will you incorporate any of your other crafting skills into it?

    I do knit, but decided against making a shawl or a dress in the end.

    Yes I’ve been sewing my own clothes for two years! I have a serger and sewing machine. I’m working with muslin to draft and alter the dress now.


    I am also knitting a bolero I found a free pattern with schematics and it will be my knit circle project.
