Making an Event on FB for our wedding??? HELP

okay Im getting married in May. I was thinking about making an Event for our Wedding on FaceBook, just to see how many people will say there coming... A lot of people we have on our guest list will be coming from out of state ( Not sure if even all of them will be coming) I haven't even started on...

I haven't even started on invites yet.. But what to you all think of making an Event before the invites?? Im trying to get a rough estimate of how many people will be attending, because I need to start figuring out how many tables & chairs I will need to rent and food etc... I have a guest list of 65, but will say 70.

Do you think its tacky to make an Facebook event?

Who really cares what you think. It’s not your wedding. Unless you are gonna pay for the invitation and save the dates to be sent out then your opinion means nothing to the bride and groom. I’m sure they’d be happy to take away your invite since it nearly killed you!
