In the past few years every eye makeup I have tried I have an allergic reaction and my eyes swell. Has anyone else had this? What eye makeup have you used that doesn’t cause a reaction? Thanks so much!

I have very sensitive skin and have gone through TONS of foundations lol. These are the ones that I've tried that haven't cause a reaction.

Bare Minerals Prime Time BB Tinted Primer with SPF : I use this on days where I don't need too much, it's more for casual outings! Lightweight, and has SPF.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Tinted Moisturizer with SPF : Similar to the Bare Minerals one, but I find it to be a little more buildable. Also has SPF

beauty blender Bounce Liquid Whip Long Wear Foundation : Just purchased this about 2 months ago and love it!! A lot more coverage than the first two, so I use this when we go to events and parties! Buildable and great coverage. Doesn't have SPF which is a bummer, but I just add SPF with my moisturizer before!

My fiancé uses this cream his doctor gave him because sometimes he gets allergy flareups on his eyes and this stuff works amazing! It’s called TRIAMCINOLONE Acetonide. Maybe if you go to your doctor and get a proper cream, then you may not have such a hard time finding make up because hopefully if you put the cream on underneath it will prevent any sort of allergic reaction. I would definitely suggest going to see a dermatologist first. Even all natural hypoallergenic make ups may still cause flareups

I’m not sure about eyeshadow or eyeliner, but I’ve had to switch mascaras because my eyes have grown sensitive to certain ingredients. I now use Clinique’s High Impact mascara which is great for a more natural look and is hypoallergenic (I believe a lot of Clinique’s products are catered to more sensitive skin). I’m sure there are some other great hypoallergenic options on the market as well! Hope you can find something that works for you!

Thanks so much everyone! I just had a skin and blood test for my allergist last year and found I am now allergic to many things that I didn’t used to be. I will make an appt with my dermatologist.
