I would first check with your makeup artist on how long it will take for each person to get makeup done (and also factor in the time it takes to get hair done). Are you doing a first look? If so, what time will that be at? Work backwards from there - for example, if it will take around an hour total to get both hair and makeup done for each person, you'll need to start at least 4 hours before the first look, and then I would build in an extra half hour or even an extra hour, just in case things run long. If you're doing a first look at 4pm, then I think starting hair and makeup at 11am would be enough time! If you're not doing a first look, talk to your photographer to find out what time you need to be ready at, and work backwards from there.

So we’ll have the photographer there around 5-530 to do ‘fake get ready photos’. I think 4 hours should be more than enough time because one person isn’t getting a full face of makeup. 12:30 might give us enough cushion time. Like you said just in case she run longer than expected.

I also had a small group like that. Our ceremony was at 3 PM and we got our makeup done between 10 AM–noon. So if your makeup artist arrives 4 or 5 hours ahead of time, that should be good.

Bc we were going to stay at a hotel that’s 15 mins from the venue the night before, but the person that’s doing my hair is near my house and that’s 40 mins from the venue. Hmm, unless we stay at the hotel the night before then I drive back to get my hair done and then back to the hotel then to the venue for the makeup. That just sounds like too much. I need to figure this out.

I have 7 people doing hair and make up for my wedding. My friend's salon will be closed the morning of and we will have 4 girls working on the 7 of us. My photographer requested my make up be done by 1:30 - so the time for all of us is: 9-12.

It depends how many people will be working on you as well. I would definitely tell them what time you need to be ready and ask what times they recommend.

I agree with PPs- check with your makeup artist and any team they may be coming with. They’ll know how long it’ll take for each person and can guess on when they’ll need to start by.

Hi imani so is everyone getting hair done too? If so then she should start hair and makeup right away because about she is finished with third person then you to do. All of that you should be looking at maybe 4pm to done finishes if she is doing the 3 hair too
