Makeup Trial Part 2

I think that's normal if you don't like the first MUA. It doesn't hurt to do as many as you want as long as the budget allows.

I just had the one. I liked his work so no need for a second trail.

I had 2. I wasnt a fan of the first one so I tried another artist and I'm glad I did because I was much happier with her!

I actually had three because the first one was horrible....I looked like the end of the night, raccoon eyes and all. The second was underwhelming and the third I loved. It was pricey though so hopefully you wont need that many. Just make sure they take their time and are willing to start over and try new looks if you're not happy. That's what neither of my first 2 trials would do.

I haven't had any, I'm hoping my first one goes well and I won't need a second one. If I don't like it I'm not sure what I'll do lol I do have 2 possible people who could do it, going with my friend first

I had three trials. If you have the money for it, go for it. I didn’t realize hair and makeup were important to me until these trials. I wanted someone I was comfortable with and knew how to make me look good. I’m so glad I scored on the third one! she’s my favorite vendor so far.

I wish I could do multiple trials but they are soooo expensive here in North Jersey!

I'm very particular with my makeup. I'm hoping my trial on Wednesday goes well so I don't have to go thru multiple trials! Glad you found a great MUA

From what I saw the girl I'm having a trial with looks like she does good work so hopefully I don't need to do another.

That is my problem, I don't want to be underwhelmed. I've gotten my makeup done at MAC & sephora before and that's exactly how I felt. I just hope I only need 1.

I have one girl booked for a trial for Wednesday. If the trial on Wednesday doesn't go as planned I have another girl who's available for my wedding day so I will see if she can do it.

Not yet. Trials seem to run around $150 so I really gotta stick with whoever I trial with. I have been searching....

I've had three so far and had planned to have as many as I needed! We got it perfect this time though!

I am only because my old salon wants to do my hair and make up after I did a trail done place else, I know my old place will do a good job but it is part of the package.

I am pretty sure I will be doing this. I had my first trial this past weekend, and although it looked nice, everyone said I do a much better job on my own with my full face of makeup everyday. After looking at my pics from this first trial I saw a lot I would clean up or change altogether.

I am pricing other MUA in my area to see if I an afford a new trial with a new artist.

View Quoted Comment I know what you mean..I'm in new york and they were super pricey. Definitely exceeded my budget on the trials but thankfully I did because my first 2 trials were so bad.
