So I really want to do my own makeup for my wedding. Makeup artists I've spoken to were highly priced and I'm worried about spending money on a trial and not liking it. I don't like other people touching my eyes (just freaks me out haha). This was one eye makeup look (not doing the rest of my face just yet) I did on my own just to practice. Any suggestions or reccomendations on makeup for weddings?

I think it looks amazing! I would definitely do your own makeup. You did an awesome job and it sounds like you'd me much more comfortable taking that route, plus you save a few bucks

Your make up looks nice. Sadly hair and make up can be super expensive. I am splurging but I feel you on spend the money and not liking it.

Girl, if I could do makeup that well I wouldn't hire an artist! My only recommendation is that you make sure your base layers are high quality so that makeup lasts!

Definitely do it yourself - you know what you're doing!! No need to pay someone and yes, what if you hate it? I'm doing my own, but I did also go to cosmetology school and have done my own makeup since I was 14. I don't trust anyone else with my eyebrows so I gotta do it myself!!

That's awesome!! This is only my third time blending shadows and first time with false lashes so I plan to keep practicing. If you have all the supplies you need go for it!!! I bet yours will look great!

That looks really good! I feel like if you can do eye makeup that well, you must be quite talented at makeup and the rest of your look will come together no problem.
