I'm sure there are lots more and some vendors require you to contact them for their pricing which may be worth doing. If you don't have any luck with WeddingWire vendors, I would look into going to an Ulta or Sephora for a more budget-friendly option. Hope this helps!

I’m assuming you’ve already checked other salons around you, but as far as freelance artists go, unless you find someone who just graduated beauty school and happens to have their own airbrush kit, it might be tough to find airbrush makeup at that price range. One artist I contacted said her price doubles if you wanted airbrush because of the training and the tools required to perform it. You might want to consider seeing if any of the local beauty schools’ student salons offer airbrush services at a cheap price. I know I’ve seen unbeatable traditional makeup pricing at those salons.


$200 is honestly not a bad price, especially for the area. Just for comparison, I’m in the same general area as you and the best price I could get from any artist just for traditional makeup was $250, but that included hair, makeup, and trials for both. But this was someone who wasn’t as experienced as some of the more well-known artists. I ended up going with her and all went well, but most artists I looked at easily charged double or more.

Hi Ashton, Check out thumbtack if you already haven't. I found my make up and hair artists through them and saved big money baby! You can find so many different people on thumbtack who are professionals at what they do , have real reviews and you can reach out and chat to them and ask questions, etc. I booked my hmua, officiant and florist all through thumbtack.
