Makeup Disaster

My MUA was terrible! I previously posted asking for opinions on which makeup look to show my mua on wedding day. Well it was a disaster. She was rude to me, my maid of honor, and bridesmaid. Blamed her poor quality on my face features, foundation color and even told me to get my eyebrows waxed. Topping it off she put lipstick on my hand and was rude when we asked how to get it off after countless attempts of scrubbing with a makeup wipe. We tried saying hey maybe add alittle bronzer. I looked like a ghost and she wouldn’t listen. Finally I said ok this is good and I left the room to get my hair done. She left and I tried to spruce it up but ended up having a meltdown and scrubbing my face. Needless to say I missed my pictures I planned to do because I redid my whole makeup, with the help of my bridal party. All in all if something doesn’t go right on your big day. It’ll be okay. I promise. I feel like my wedding was a wreck but I had fun and married my man and that’s all that matters!

    I'm so sorry that happened to you. I remember you mentioning that you were unable to have a trial, so you really did have to just go on faith, but for anyone reading who does have the option, time, etc for a trial, this is exactly why I'd very, very strongly recommend getting one.

    That's horrible, I am so sorry! I hope you're going to leave her a negative review 😬😬 I don't usually vote for that and I know it won't help you in this moment, but I can't believe she tried to blame your face for bad makeup! I'm so glad you're able to see the positives of your wedding day, even between your monster in law and this makeup mishap. I'm sure you were beautiful and your groom was completely smitten 💛💛

    Oh, gosh!! I am so so sorry that you had to experience this! Smiley winking I suggest contacting management and demand a refund or for them to at least give you a BIG discount.

    And just like what Samantha said, write a review! Because you are helping future clients to not book with her based on your experience. Save them the trouble of going through the same thing with that makeup artist and put that review. I suggest your girls write a review as well.

    And you were so strong to pull yourself together to see all the positives throughout the rest of your special day!!! Smiley heart Congrats on being married love!
