Makeup artist

I actually spoke with her today. She was supposed to send me the info, Im still waiting for it. I just wanted to see what else was out there as far as ideas.

You can have it done in the ships salon by their professional hair stylists! A friend of mine got married on a cruise a few years back and she had her hair and make up done before she got off the ship to get married. They were cruising with Norwegian Cruise Lines but I know Royal Caribbean offers the same package so if they do it, I'm sure Carnival does it! It's for sure worth looking into with the cruise line, maybe they even have a package you can purchase that includes these services.

Are you two getting married while the cruise ship is at port in Jamaica? If so, you can definitely look into what Amanda mentioned! I know there are usually salons that do hair and makeup onboard cruise ships!

I called Carnival the other day, I was told that its not mandatory for them to have makeup artist aboard. They said I might get lucky if I find one of the hairstylist that knows how to do makeup, but its not guaranteed. I called my wedding planner and she found a makeup artist for me. So I'm very happy now!

I'm not really sure how I want my hair just yet, but as far as my makeup goes I want a natural glow. My wedding day will be my first time getting my makeup done. I think I might do a trail before hand justy so I can have an idea on how I'm going to look.

I'm so happy to hear that you found a makeup artist!! A trial is a great idea - that way you can see their work and make any changes/additions before your big day!

I'm glad you and your wedding planner got it figured out! That's so odd to me they might not have a make-up artist available! RCCL offers wedding packages that include Bride hair and make-up and my friend had hers done on NCL for her wedding. It's good to know for the future if we know anyone getting married and involving Carnival.
