Hello everyone, I’m trying too get my ideas together for our big day. I know it’s still about a year away but I like too have everything done or at least an idea so I’m not stressing when the day comes closer. Our colors are mint green and powder sky blue. So I was thinking for my makeup I would have a blue and/or green eye shadow but Iddk if that would be too much and to dark for my face. Maybe I should just have natural colors. Same with my nails I’m not sure if I should have green or blue nails or just have a basic French manicure. I see a lot of pictures of girls with natural colors but I want to use my colors also. I have some pictures of ideas I was thinking. Please let me hear your opinions. Thank you Makeup and nails 1

Honestly, my suggestion would be play around with it some - especially if you intend to do your own. If you intend to hire a makeup artist, see what they think and have AT LEAST one trial.

Normally I do my own & am pretty good with it but on my wedding day I want to be pampered so I hired someone. Will you be doing your own or hiring a makeup artist? Also, what color are your eyes? You want to make sure the eye shadow you choose makes your eyes really stand out.

I will be hiring someone do my hair and makeup and I have blue eyes. I do my own make but never anything fancy usually just eyeliner and mascara lol so I definitely want someone for that day I wanna go all out but I don’t wanna look like too much since people are use to seeing me with little too no makeup but I think if they do it right then I could possibly have some color but I’m not sure

Oh your makeup artist is going to have so much fun with you! I’ve done my trial & it came out awesome. There are some things I want her to tweek & she had no problem listening to what I wanted. Your artist will ask what your vision is & if you have any photos.
I have a nail lady that I see whenever I’m in Phoenix & she does amazing work. Everything is by hand- she is so talented! Obviously she’s going to do my wedding nails. She wanted me to look on Pinterest for inspiration but all the ones I found were so BLAH & I told her so. She pointed out that you don’t want your nails to totally stand out & take away from your dress. But I have to have some bling to them! She’s gonna do great- I can’t wait to see what she comes up with!

I agree with the prior suggestions! It's ultimately up to you and your vision! I will say that natural makeup will likely be more timeless, like when you're looking at your wedding photos years down the road! But if it makes your eyes pop and fits your vision, I don't see why not!
