Make your own food?

Hello! We are having a small wedding, 38 guests 8 of whom are children or babies. We will be at a private villa. We were thinking of having dad just grill fish and some vegetarian options, set out rice and side dishes instead of a caterer. Is anyone else doing their own food? Thoughts?

    I would check with your venue first and make sure that they allow it, I know we have had ideas like that but a lot of our options were limited due to our venue only allowing catering companies to make the food
