Make up and hair from thumbtack

We found our officiant on thumbtack. He had a ton of great reviews & we talked on the phone before booking with him, then met in person. We've used thumbtack for house projects too. I found my HAMU artist on wedding wire & did a trial before booking.

We didn’t find our HMUA on Thumbtack, but we did find our bartender there. I wouldn’t be any more hesitant to hire a HMUA from Thumbtack than any other website. Look at reviews, make sure they provide a contract, and do a trial.

I hired my seamstress and officiant through thumbtack. Read reviews, ask questions, just like you would no matter where/how you found the vendor.

Ive used Thumbtack successfully several times.

I did not hire hair and makeup from thumbtack, but I will say I hired other professionals for my wedding from there. I've gone back on there to look for people for Christmas parties and a birthday party as well! I would say if the price and location of the places listed on Thumbtack are right for you, give them a try. Definitely do a trial run beforehand, but why not?!
