Make the table rounds?

andrea, on April 11, 2017 at 1:40 PM Posted in Planning 0 4

Hello, we are having an outdoor wedding and not having a recieving line after the ceremony so we have some sunlight for pictures. We plan on eating with everyone else during the reception so when is the time you usually go table to table to say hi to everyone and thank them?

In my opinion during dinner is best because everyone is seated for eating. You guys can eat a bit first and then make the rounds.

Usually reception venues will serve the bride and groom first, so you have a few minutes to eat before going around and greeting people. If you don't have time to greet everyone during dinner, you can just try to hug and thank everyone else during dancing and other parts of the reception!

We'll be making rounds after we eat.

We did ours during dinner, we asked the caterer to bring out our food last so we could still eat (quickly) after saying hello to everyone.
