Maid of Honor Dress

Hey Everyone! I need help! I want my bridesmaids to have the same color dress but will allow them to have different styles. I want my maid of honor to have a different dress color so she stands out! I need help deciding what colors for what.


My color scheme is Burgundy, slate blue and specks of gold.
If I did burgundy dresses for the bridesmaids, do you think gold would be good for the MOH?

    As a member of the pasty club, I'd be a little horrified to be wearing gold.
    You could do slate blue for bridesmaids and burgundy for MOH. Or vise versa.
    If she's more blessed in the melanin department than I, she may totally feel comfortable in gold and totally rock it.

    Hmmm bridemaid Buregendy and MOH can wear gold theres different kinds of gold and i tjink gold is beautiful witg the Burgendy.

    I think it would be fine. You could also do like a sparkly burgundy dress for your maid of honor rather than a totally different color.

    I agree with Mandi - gold is definitely not my color, so I wouldn't be thrilled in a gold dress. Maybe have her try something on that's gold and see how it looks - you don't want her to feel anything other that beautiful.

    I’m In The Same Predicament But My Colors Are Rose Gold,Burgundy,Light Pink,&& White ..!!! I’m Thinking Burgundy for BM && Rose Gold For MOH ..!!! Or Each BM Alternating Color (Light Pink,Burgundy,Light Pink,Burgundy,Etc) ..!!! Decisions,Decisions But Remember,It’s YOUR Wedding ..!!!

    I think another thing you could do is get a darker red and everyone else be in a lighter red? e.g. my MOH was in a pink that was a lot lighter than everyone else's
