So, my bridesmaids are wearing short length dresses that will all be the same. Would it look funny to have my maid of honor wear a long dress? Her dress will be different regardless. Just want your thoughts on a different length

One of my bridesmaids wants to wear a knee length dress which I'm really against, so I'm buying my bridesmaids dresses so they'll all match!

I feel like if you are mixing lengths you have to intentionally go with mismatched lengths and possibly asymmetrical or high-low hemlines to make it appear cohesive and not too jarring. Having a number of maids in short dresses and then just one maid/MOH in a long dress might look out of place. I don't care for short lengths for weddings though, so I'm not sure I'm the best judge here.

I wouldn't mix lengths, but if you want to, but a high low dress would work.
