Magnetic Liner & Lashes anyone?

H, on September 13, 2019 at 5:14 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 8
I'm curious to know if anyone has or will be using magnetic liner & lashes and if so which brand did you or are you planning to go with? I keep trying the regular ones with glue but cannot for the life of me get them as close to my lash line as possible without seeing a visible space between my lashes and the faux lashes.

I haven’t used them yet, but I do have a little advice for putting on falsies! This might be common knowledge, but I’ve just learned it and can finally apply them on my own. I hold the lash with tweezers, apply the glue, let it get tacky, then apply it to the lash line from the top instead of applying straight forward. Like hold them where the strip is down and the lash is facing up toward the ceiling instead of out in front of you. This is the only photo I could find that kind of shows what I’m talking about. I also think using tweezers was key for me.

I actually did try a the plain magnetic ones but man, for someone who does not wear lashes regularly, that was a hot mess 😂 the little plastic applicator they give you is a joke. As soon as you apply them and pull the applicator away, the lashes would stick back to it and pull away with it. I ended up returning them after several tries lol

Oh that is actually a really good idea! I was definitely applying them like the right picture. Do you wear them regularly? Is there a specific brand glue you find works best? I have the kiss brand I believe it is but that doesn't stay very well. I also have very oily eyelids though, so that's probably a factor 🙄

I thought about them but Youtube beauty gurus couldn’t get them to sit without a gap. If they can’t do it then there’s no way in hell I could. I might buy some after the wedding to experiment but can’t risk it for my wedding.
