Magic Mirror Photo Booth?

Janiya, on January 14, 2019 at 5:33 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 17

Hi brides! I was thinking of getting the magic mirror photo booth for ourselves and guests to use during the reception. I was thinking that the photo's that print out could be the favors for the guests as something to look back on. Did anyone use this idea during their reception or what other favors were provided to guests?

So exciting! I'm getting the mirror booth as well and also was thinking that the photos can be used as favors.
My mother thinks we still need something else at each seat, but oh well. I'll let her choose whatever else she wants to add lol.

Im creating a photo corner. My venue has a backdrop thats traditionally used for this purpose. I will get the props. I love the idea of the print out being the favor. Mine wont be like that. I will just sit a digital camera near the corner to use.
Im making a tradional german christmas drink (November wedding) bottled in small bottles as a favor to take home.

FH’s cousin had a magic mirror - it was so fun! They also had little cakes in jars (same flavor as their wedding cake) as favors Smiley smile

We are also doing the magic mirror!! I’m SUPER excited because I’ve never used it before. We are using the photos as favors. And for those persons who don’t take a picture we have VERY FANCY to go containers for desserts and/or wedding cake.

    Hi Angerra,

My nana thinks the same way! She wants the stemless wine glasses engraved with our names and wedding date as favors, which is fine since she’ll be paying for majority of the wedding. Was just trying to find a way to cut down on costs and setting up additional items.

    Hi Juliane,

I LOVE the DIY idea for your photo booth. I was thinking maybe a homemade jam or natural honey in small mason jars would be a cute favor as well. I mean... who can really say they hate jelly or honey? Lol

    Hi Alexandra,

Thanks so much! I’ve heard nothing but good things about the magic mirror but they can get pretty pricey also, lol

Awesome! Where did you find the fancy to-go containers? That seems like a really nice detail.

    Hi Erika,

I’m leaning towards using the pictures as the favors for the guest also.

    Hi Janiya!
I totally understand on trying to cut costs and set up. My parents are helping us pay for our wedding so if my mom wants favors, so be it. I won't stop her. I believe she wants to do an edible favor. I initially wanted mini champagne bottles but it's just going to cost wayyy too much.
The stemless wine glasses sound great! Have you found any that you like yet?

I've found some from cheapfavorshop.com that are really nice. They're not cheap actually, lol. Maybe around $230 for 100 glasses.

    Thank you!
No one hates food gifts! Lol.
Especially something you make that people tell you all the time that its good. If I could figure out how to gift tiny little briskets, i would make my fiance smoke 100 of them lol.

I am 100% doing a photo corner( or booth whatever ends up cheaper) with tons of wedding & “Harry Potter” props! I’ve alrwady gotten the “kids birthday” style “HP” ones and a few elegant Wizard/Witch hats, all I need now are a couple of House Crest items: a scarf for each house and Robes lol! I might do cheap “one size” black graduation robes and sew on the House Crest patches...
Our wedding is September 19 of 2020- so I’ve got time! Lol
