Made a mistake - what do i do?

I accidentally put the reception time as 6 on the invitations, but the cocktail hour is at 6 😓 reception is at 7. Some say don’t do anything because it’s not a big deal and people will go straight there anyway (it’s right after the ceremony) someone has suggested making programs that specify the itinerary including the cocktail hour & reception time, or to just text everyone and tell them (which would feel humiliating). Thoughts please?

    I don't see an issue. Cocktail hour kicks off the reception and no one ever lists the dinner start time on invites/inserts unless there is no cocktail hours, so as long as both are at the same location you're fine.

    I think you're splitting hairs on Cocktail Hour vs. Reception. To most guests, it's all the same thing. Smiley smile

    As others have mentioned, I don't think you have a problem here. If anyone asks just say cocktail hour is part of the reception Smiley winking

    I don't seen an issue because everyone will go straight to cocktail hour after the ceremony followed by the reception.
