Lulu's or other non-bridal store dresses

Beth, on October 11, 2017 at 10:37 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5

Has anyone used Lulu's for bridesmaid's dresses? If so, what was your experience like? I like a couple of their dresses, but I'm nervous ordering them online. I would love to get away from shopping at a bridal store for my girls since the prices are so much higher than other shops that may be able to offer similar dresses.

Amazon.com find ones with good reviews, real pictures, and most importantly FREE RETURNS. My bm dresses were $30 each.

I'm not sure about bridesmaids dresses but I bought a dress from Lulu's for the marine ball and it fit like a charm! I'll see if I can find the dress or a picture of me in it but it was a slim black dress with v neck and a slit in the leg and I was concerned that it may look too loose on me but it was perfect! I'll most likely look into Lulu's for my bridesmaids dresses.

I'd look on Amazon. There are some pretty decent options on there with decent reviews for under $50. If you have prime, you'd get free returns and fast shipping too if the dresses don't work out.

Amazon is great. I am considering UnionStation.com. For cocktail-length dresses it is $50 to rent (send you 2 sizes) or $150 to purchase. The design of the dresses makes it so that alterations are minimal if needed at all.

I used Lulu's for a dress when officiating a wedding and it was gorgeous!! Long, super good quality! I'm not junior sizes (5'9", 150), and the Medium fit just right. A lot of the dresses have good reviews, so the girls could review those to look at sizing, plus they have free returns. I actually bought 2 sizes and returned the one that didn't fit. And for my wedding I'm letting the girls pick places like Lulus or ASOS for their blush dresses because I loved my first one, and all other dresses I buy from there.
