"Love Story Meets Viva La Vida" by Jon Schmidt

I know this song has been mentioned by several people and I absolutely love it! Unfortunately I haven't been able to find the original version anywhere.

I can only find the new Taylor Swift Remix... no offense or anything but I like the Coldplay version better. Does anyone know where I can find this song for (legal) download?

    The iTunes version is the remix (not what I'm looking for) and the link on the blog is expired.

    Thanks, but I don't think I can download it from these sites.

    Jon Schmidt is a friend of ours! He was my hubby's piano teacher, and dated my sister in law!

    Right now, they are trying to get the rights from Coldplay to use their song. I guess Coldplay is in a legal tangle with somebody else for "Viva La Vida", and as soon as that's "cleared up" Jon will release the song for download. Here is the full story:

    Love the song! Just went onto YouTube and listened to it...not sure if you can get the music off of that...but it might be worth a try

    Squawkbox: I've been stalking his website just waiting for the day when the Coldplay version becomes available. Guess I'll just have to be patient and hope it all gets settled before March Smiley smile
