No. I believe in lust at first sight, but I don't think it's possible to lay eyes on a person and, without ever speaking a word to them, fall in love. Love isn't just about physical attraction, chemistry, or even just a feeling, it's about choosing that person, their good and their bad, every single day. It's impossible to feel that way about someone you know nothing about.

I agree with Caytlyn, there's lust at first sight but not love. Sometimes you get lucky and lust turns into something romantic

I agree with the PPs. There's an attraction at first sight but love is a strong emotion that I don't think you can get before you know the person. They could be super attractive, and suck as a person.

I agree with PPs. Love is loving an entire person, not just their appearance and you can’t love an entire person the moment you lay eyes on them.

No that’s called Lust. To love someone you know the faults and strengths. You can’t do that If
    you don't know them.

This is worded extremely well. I particularly liked the quote " believe in lust at first sight".

I'd say three months of continuous interaction. We had been friends for three years but didn't really talk much. Then he happened to get a job near my house and I told him I'd take him to dinner for his birthday and we just never stopped hanging out. 🤣

I think that's how most relationships start. How long did it take you to love him?

    Smiley xd

I think the natural progress of most relationships is lust, infatuation, love, and then in love.

We started off as sex-associates (swearing filter wouldn’t let me write the real term). It took awhile because we both planned for it to be a fling. It was probably a year to 18 months until I caught feelings.

I don't believe in love at first sight. You don't know the person well enough to decide if you love them!

I agree with you, unless we're talking about children.
