My fiance and I played basketball and we LOVE basketball. We are trying to find a way to incorporate a basketball theme at our wedding but nothing to major (I think it would be tacky if it was just all about bball). Does anyone know how I can a little basketball feeling to our wedding? Maybe with our seating charts?? Table numbers?? Program??? I don't really want to make basket all themes invitations unless it's a REALLY nice elegant one. Our wedding colors are Royal blue and Silver.

What about a basketball themed grooms cake? Or have guests sign a basketball as a non-traditional guest book.

Maybe a basketball shaped grooms cake. A "hoop with Net" for a Card Box.

I saw a couple that are both college basketball coaches (and longtime former players).. they came into their reception with their bridal party making a team style tunnel to run through. Their MC announced as if he was announcing the starting lineup "and now... from Cape May, New Jersey, standing at 5'4 in her wedding heels... starting guard BRIDE escorted by ... from Philadelphia, PA, looking dapper as always, GROOM" ... he had a basketball and they did a cute little pass and catch thing to the space jam theme song and then had their formal first dance. That was it for basketball but it was cute. That's one of my favorite movies! Congrats and good luck
