Lost my engagement ring

Sorry to hear about this!! I would absolutely recommend that you tell your fiance. How long has it been since you lost it? Do you have insurance on the ring? If so, contact them as well if it's been more than a couple days since you last saw it.

This is seriously one of my biggest fears. Mine needs sized a bit as well, but I have been putting it off until summer to see if my fingers swell before doing it. I’m sure you had to be absolutely sick to your stomach when you realized it was gone. I hope you are able to find it!!

So. My best friend lost her engagement ring years ago and she called me and asked me to come help her look. We tore the house APART, her fiance didn't know she lost it. We couldn't find it anywhere. She looked at me seriously and told me we would have to go through the dog poop in her yard because maybe her dog ate it and I drew the line there. Turns out, her fiance had found it, he put it in his glasses case and didn't tell her because he had been telling her to get somewhere more secure to keep it when she wasn't wearing it. My suggestion would be to talk to your fiance in case he did see it and stored it somewhere for you. He might also be able to help with the insurance if you have it on your ring. I'm sorry you lost it . It's a big fear of mine as well!

Oh crap Bride! The catholic in me says I should pray to Saint Anthony for you, but my left brain says to buy a metal detector instead. That sucks! Have you used any public bathrooms recently and possibly took it off when you washed your hands? Maybe it fell off while you were driving in the car? Did you do laundry?


I can understand your pain because I am super clumsy and I can totally see myself doing this. This is exactly why I do not wear my real ring! I purchased a fake replica of my ring and I wear that one because I am so afraid that I will lose it because I know I will lose it or do something like drop it down the sink! I would give it another day of searching and then you’re probably going to want to tell your FH at some point. Also, you might want to check out Tiger Gems! That is where I got my replica ring and it is only slightly bigger than my real ring but it definitely looks the same.

Thanks guys for the responses . I will definitely talk to my Fiancé and ask him we had insurance on it . I hope we do (fingers crossed).

Side note : The only two places it could fall off is from my house to my car and i check the outside camera and it showed me closing the door with my ring on my fingers.

and when I left the house and went straight in my car and went by my mom job and we exchange cars . after that i left in my car and stop at McDonalds drive for food, while still in the car i was playing with my daughter and then i was like what wait my ring!!!

OMG!!! I'm so sorry. I feel your pain. I lost mine right before I was supposed to get it sized and I ended up finding it in one of the plants next to my porch. I really hope you find it!

I lost mine recently too. Noticed it gone on my way home from work. I was absolutely sick to myStomach and a wreck. Told my fiancé about it and was eerily calm. Fast forward and long story shelf-found it outside of my work on the ground. It had been ran over but thankful that Zales replaced it for me!
