Was the ring too big? If you didn't have it sized to fit you, then you need to do so when you either find it or get a new one. Chances are it fell off in your bed. Also, I would post on community Facebook pages about it. I know someone who lost theirs & when she posted about it on our city Facebook page, someone came forward that had found it.

Insure the new one and get it sized

Don't know if this has been suggested but tear your bed apart. I lost mine during the night when it fell off. It was stuck behind the bed between the mattress and boxspring.

Did you take it off while washing your hands, or putting on some lotion?

OP... do you own your home? Or do you have renters insurance?

The reason I ask is, depending on your homeowners policy, it may be covered even if it didn't specifically add a rider for the ring. For example - our homeowners covers individual pieces of jewelry up to $5k in value with no additional rider necessary. If my ring was worth more than $5k, I then could add a rider for the specific appraised value of my ring so that I get the full value in event of loss or theft. My insurance agent told us that even if I lose it when traveling or elsewhere, it would be covered even without the rider up to $5k.

Sometimes renters insurance has similar policies.

Maybe you can recoup some of the value if it's truly gone. I hope you find it though.

Were you wearing gloves while you were out? It could've gotten stuck and slipped off when you removed them.

So mine was stuck in my rubber glove from when I was doing dishes!! As I pulled the gloves off, it must have slipped off my hand! It stayed in there for 24 hours! I was freaking out!! Sending you some love and hope you find it soon!

Sorry just saw that you don't have insurance. Please get insurance next time. All I did was email my broker to have it added to my renters insurance. It took 2 minutes.
