Lost my engagement ring... completely beside myself

I'm so sorry to hear that and hope you find it. I once lost the center stone from my grandmom's engagement ring that I wear every day - I lost it while walking my dog in the park, and there really was no way to find it. We replaced the stone with a cz for now, but I'm still sad that I lost the original stone.

FH and I also lost an envelope of money on vacation once. We looked everywhere and under everything in the condo for more than an hour, and couldn't find it at all. Several hours later, he had the idea to look under the bed again, and it was somehow wedged between two storm windows that were stored under the bed, which we had checked already but somehow didn't see.

Hope you find it! You never know the weird places that something can wind up.

I am so sorry and hope it turns up soon. A lady at my work lost her ring last week and it was in a pair of gloves she had on the night before.

As you already mentioned "I’m starting to think I accidentally threw it in the garbage which is long gone by now just because it’s nowhere to be found"- I also think the same. I found my lost wedding ring inside the mini bin that was bought from Toronto during the renovation of our house.

When I lost my ring, I searched it everywhere except in the bin. But my mother found it from the bin. I was too disappointed when I lost my ring. I planned to buy a new ring with the same design. My mother was searching for a plastic bag in the bin and she found my ring along with the plastic bag. So don't ignore this possibility.
