Losing Belly weight

Hi everyone!

I wanted some advice or suggestions on some things that have helped you lose weight, specifically in the gut area, before your big day.
I have a health condition which unfortunately affects my body in multiple ways, one being my body shape. I have a large protruding belly (I look like I’m always pregnant. It’s not an easy thing to deal with sometimes..)
I’m very rectangular, and have a bloated belly 24/7. I’ve learned to accept my body the way it is, and there’s only so much I can do to control my round belly.
There’s some fat I can try to get rid of, but it’s mostly the bloatedness. (My diet cannot change anymore than it already has, so that’s off the list🥲😅) my doctors don’t recommend changing my diet much due to nutrition and vitamins requirements.
What are some exercises, or maybe some snacks/shakes they have helped you ladies with losing size within the belly area?
I hope to maybe lose just a couple pounds in that area to avoid my dress from being too snug or popping buttons open🤣
I’m 3 months away from our big day! Alterations aren’t gonna work either since my dress can’t be let out due to a corset bodice, but I’ll do what I can for my body!
Thanks💜

Would you be open to CoolSculpting? I did it on my arms. It's non-surgical, so you can go home and do your normal activities right after.

If diet changes are out of the question, then I would up your exercise. Increase your cardio to boost your metabolism and lose weight and lift weights (low/moderate weight, high reps) to tone (muscle burns more calories at rest than fat does). Increase your water and fiber intake for the bloating. Unfortunately, you cannot “spot” lose weight (ie, there are no exercises that will result in only losing weight in the tummy area), so the previous person’s suggestion of cool sculpt is one you might consider. I’ve known people who have done a series of wraps that have temporarily flattened their stomaches also, so that may be something to look into.

Unfortunately you can't target specific areas of your body and doing belly area excercises may just increase the area because you are building up muscle mass. Excercises works by taking away fat from the largest parts of your body muscle wise. So first it comes from your legs and back, then arms, and lastly the stomach. It sucks but it is what it is

LOTS of water and IF possible, choose juicy fruits and vegetables such as celery, cucumber, watermelon, salad etc. Sugar is a nasty one to try and avoid but I'm not sure what your diet is already like. Weight loss is one specific area isn't really possible but maybe trying to do lots of walking-good for all over toning and weight loss, and maybe some ab exercises to just tone things up as much as possible.

As others have mentioned you cannot spot lose weight or force your body to lose weight in only some areas and not others, at least not through diet and exercise. Cool sculpting or abdomen wraps may be non-invasive options to consider; I haven't looked into them myself but non-invasive cosmetic procedures would be the only thing I could think of that could potentially reduce a bloated tummy without affecting other areas. Drinking water and avoiding too much salt will help with bloating in all cases so I would be sure to do that regardless of whatever other methods you try. Dairy also causes inflammation in many people, so cutting back on dairy the week leading up to your wedding could help, as well as limiting alcohol, at least before the wedding itself.
