My fiance and I are having a "Woodland Realm" themed wedding (we met in grad school for creative writing, I work in a library, he is a teacher, so we want to celebrate our love of books, too!) and so I designed these save the dates! My lovely artist sister carried out my vision beautifully in ink and watercolor. (Excuse the crop lines, this was before they were cut to size.)

I am printing them through Vistaprint!

These scream LOTR to me. It's the White Tree of Gondor and the lettering is written in a style of dwarvish runes. I love these!
I have no shame in letting my Tolkien geek flag fly!

AHHH!!! So in love with this!! You did a great job!! I'm such a LOTR fan, my second choice for a wedding theme would have been Middle Earth/LOTR. I was even Arwen for Halloween one year and made a banner with the white tree of Gondor (see picture, it is now hanging in my office). Also if you're going with this theme, you need the sign in my second picture, I got it off of Etsy for my wedding, it was awesome!!

Also you should change your avatar and stick around for a while, I'd love to see more pictures from this theme!
