Looking for opinion on hair trial

I always wanted my hair down for my wedding, but mom convinced me to try a half up/half down style. I love the back but with my long face I’m not sure the half up one has enough volume from the front left. What do you guys think: half up (first two pics) or down (last pic after I took the updo down, so would be more tame if a stylist did it)? Please excuse the weird selfies 😂

You have gorgeous hair! I think both look lovely personally I d go with the half up but if you aren't completely sold on that style maybe you can ask for another trial and try a different or slightly modified half up do. Happy planning!

Sometimes a photographer will try to get profile shots of you during the ceremony and if your hair is down and not pinned back, photo ops that could have been great, showing your expression (happiness, tears, gratitude, laughter) could be missed. Having hair away from the front of face was recommended by my photographer.

I personally love a half up style, but if YOU really like something where it's all down or just have a few front pieces pinned back, go with that!
