Looking for a snowy honeymoon spot in the US!

Hi! We are looking to honeymoon in a snowy area in the US like Colorado. Our honeymoon dates are 12/24/21-1/1/22. We want to be close to a ski mountain and close to hot springs. The lodging budget is 800-1800. Weve found many places but none of them really shout romatic to us. I have looked at hundreds of places. Does anybody have a budget friendly suggestion? Thanks to all 馃馃拲

You are traveling/vacationing during the most expensive week of the year (not to mention travel delays, etc.). Even the most budget friendly places will have higher rates during that time. Have you looked into Orbitz packages or Southwest packages to Lake Tahoe or Sun Valley, ID? Otherwise, your best bet might be to contact a travel agent.

Have you tried Canada instead? They have so many beautiful places to stay like Banff. We stayed there for Christmas once and had a cabin with a fire place - it was lovely. Smiley smile Just a thought anyway Smiley smile

Yeah or are you needing to drive? And that's the issue with distance?

Only driving yes, open to airbnbs! We actually booked one a couple months ago and then messaged us a week ago saying that we needed to prove we were at least 28 because people younger than that are too irresponsible. We are both 23. Far more responsible than my parents and we were so offended and had to cancel.
