Looking for a bridal corset.

I would check David's Bridal online or even Amazon. May azazzie has some or JJ House?

I second David's Bridal. Their corset is surprisingly supportive and slimming.

I’m doing David’s Bridal so it’s an easy return if it’s not a good fit. I’ll probably try it on there even!

Amazon has some good ones and if you have Prime, you can do Prime Wardrobe and try several before you purchase one. I think David’s carries Dominique brand, which I was able to find cheaper on Amazon.

I found the David’s bridal corsets to be unsupportive. I ended up ordering nearly every corset Bare Necessities sells in two cup sizes and found one with a perfect fit. Free returns and they’ll give you expert fit support before you order via their phone customer service.

The one I tried on with my dress at David’s Bridal I found on Amazon for cheaper and I absolutely loved it. So comfortable!!

View Quoted Comment It gives me a smoother stomach but it does not take inches off and give me an hour glass figure like a corset does. A bustier is more forgiving than a corset so it will be more comfortable in my opinion. I tried both on and I wanted comfort over figure. I am wearing an A Line dress so my dress hides my midsection better than some dresses.

View Quoted Comment It really depends on the fit that you want. Maybe buy one of each and decide which one you like the most. Then return the one you don’t want. From what I have read the bustier is more common for wedding dresses as it is more comfortable and forgiving. The corset is very rigid because of the boning inside to squeeze you in so it is more uncomfortable. Maybe other ladies on here would have more ideas but that is mine. Corsets are usually more expensive as well because of how they are made. The bustier you just order your bra size.
