Long table centerpiece items

A S, on August 27, 2021 at 12:31 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 4
Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some advice on my table centerpiece. We’re having a very small wedding, around 27 people, we’ve decided to just have one long table which is 4 6ftx5ft tables together, with two half round ones on each end. I need help deciding how many decor items I need to fill the space. I wanted to use a table runner with 4 small hand tied bouquets and 3 large potted orchids, and some candle holders. Does anyone have a general guide as to how many candles I need or if I need more flowers or anything. I don’t want the table to look too empty.
Thank you!

Plate settings take a a good portion of the table so remember to factor those in with your centerpieces. I would just calculate as I would for separate tables. Decorate each table as you would if they were separated. You can use candles and greenery as “filler” if you’d like.

You might want to try a runner with a garland along the center. You could also add small votive candles long the way.

I am also having the same type of table, and found my best ideas by searching "dinner party decorations" as opposed to wedding decorations
