Hi ladies! I’m wearing a slip under my dress but I’m not sure if I should wear a short or long one. I bought a short one but my mom says I should wear a longer one. What are everyone’s thoughts? I attached a pic of my dress Long or short slip...? 1

Are you doing indoor or outdoor wedding? I can’t imagine wearing anything underneath my dress in summer, because it will be hot and humid. Give a short one a try, I would say.

I vote for slip so the dress doesn’t cling between your legs. However I can’t help but notice lines like there’s boning underneath the dress. Is that from your dress or is that from the slip?

The ceremony is outside and we’re also taking pictures outside on the beach. The reception however is inside

    It’s from the dress

Oh ok, gotcha! I’ve read especially for sheath dresses you should wear a slip on account of the dress clinging to your legs. But maybe with the boning it wouldn’t.

I only worried to sweat and looks red because of the heat. I think if your legs are dry and shaved it shouldn’t be a problem with chiffon. It’s chiffon, right?

I would go with a long slip, simply because I'd be afraid of the bottom hem line of the slip being visible through the skirt like a pantyline.

I would go with a long slip based on the style of the dress and wanting it to lay nicely
