Long Lasting Lipstick

I'm doing my own makeup and I planned on just wearing my favorite Charlotte Tilbury lip liner and calling it a day but now I'm double thinking if I should wear a long lasting lipstick. I've used Lipsense before...it's okay...I've used Covergirl Outlast lipsticks...they aren't so bad. But overall those long lasting lipsticks aren't my thing. And I'm against liquid matte lipsticks.

Should I just wear my Charlotte Tilbury liner like I always do or wear a long-lasting lip color because it's only one day and I won't have to worry about it???

I have found that Nars Powermatte Lip Pigment stays on forever until you take it off with a makeup wipe.

If you don’t like long wear matte lipstick products, I think just the lip liner would look fine! Just make sure to bring it with you so you can reapply if you want. You could always put a gloss over the top to get some extra longevity!

Yes, I say wear your favorite! You’re comfortable in it, you know how it wears, it’s the one for the job. You could always touch up (hide in bouquet??)!

I am thinking of doing my own makeup too and I think I would still choose my go to NARS Barbara lip color - but I’d likely add a liner for my wedding day!

Former Ulta beauty employee and makeup collector hear! If you want something to go on top of the lip liner I HIGHLY recommend the Maybelline super stay matte ink liquid lipsticks or the Colourpop Ulta blotted lip liquid lipsticks. The colourpop ones are more comfortable but the maybelline you never have to worry about reapplying.

I looked at the Ultra blotted lips by Colourpop too...maybe I'll go try one of them then. Thanks for the help!
