Hey all,
Original plans for a Caribbean destination wedding got scrapped because everyone pitched a fit. Then changed the plan to Miami AI wedding and then people still have something to say about that even though most of them have to travel to NY from NC and IN. So I have decided I am not spending thousands of dollars to people please when the day is supposed to be about my FH and I.
With that said, now we are looking for a pretty and inexpensive site to hold a ceremony only. We were talking about a courthouse wedding, but honestly that's not a pretty memory. So, instead, we started looking into pretty places to have a small ceremony outside. The ceremony is planned to be in October but is subject to change now that we are now putting our wedding budget into dress, pictures, quickie ceremony, and huge memorable honeymoon with a symbolic ceremony on the island just for us. I automatically thought of Avalon preservation but they don't allow weddings. If you know of any pretty locations with a gazebo or arch or flowers or just plain nice for pictures that costs less than 1000, we are open to all suggestions, so suggest away. Pictures welcomed as well.
Also, suggestions for a dinner after at a restaurant. Someplace not insanely pricy and we can just have a casual dinner with the friends and family who want to come.
