Have you looked at The Swan Club in Roslyn? We were considering it. September Saturday evening: $103pp, $700 chapel fee. November Saturday evening: $75pp same chapel fee. March (we're shooting for) Saturday evening $65pp same chapel fee.

7 acres of beautiful seasonal flowers and on Roslyn Harbor. I love that place.

The smaller ball room is the one we were going to go with. We may still end up there, but will only have 100 on the list (they need a minimum of 100 - max 140 for that space.

Still on the fence about venues. Going to check out Astoria World Manor soon. Our wedding planner got married there, and she said it was $40pp for a Friday night. We'll see how much for a Saturday night.

I loved the Swan Club. I was there last year, and it was fabulous.

Future Mrs. O, I went to a wedding at the Astoria World Manor 2 years ago and wasn't thst impressed with the decor. It's nice enough but kind of dated. The food was decent and the staff was nice. My FH and I are holding our reception about 2 minutes from there at the Renaissance of Astoria which is gorgeous & quite reasonable. The only thing is the world manor has several different rooms for the cocktail hour & ceremony. The renaissance is basically one large space with a balcony above for the cocktail hour & beautiful dramatic staircase for a grand entrance. Prices start at $55 pp & ceremony fee is $1100 but we'll be married elsewhere earlier in the day. Our reception starts at 8 pm. Good luck ladies!
