Long Island, ny brides... looking for suggestions

Hi, my daughters wedding is in Island Park at Bridge View on the south shore.. She's looking for a nice place to take some pictures before going there, they'll be a lot of water view pics there, so she's thinking something besides all our beautiful beaches, like maybe a park or golf course, something with some greenery and tree's maybe?? any suggestions would be so appreciated ! thanks Smiley smile

    Hey neighbor. I live in the town that Bridge View is in. We looked at it as well, but went with a place out east. Is she doing the loft or the regular ballroom?


    There isn't really any better scenery truly than the LB boardwalk, her pictures will be stunning. If you want some greenery there is Bay Park in East Rockaway or Hempstead Lake State park in RVC.

    A lot of people have their first look pictures taken at Old Westbury Gardens, there is a fee but it may be worth it to get some different pictures!

    Belmont Lake State Park might also be an option! I've seen really nice engagement pics done there.

    Hi Neighbor !! I wish she could have it in the Loft, it's beautiful. But the invite list is way too big for there ( 345) crazy, I know !! I will check the parks you suggested.. Thanks so much, and wishes for a beautiful wedding for you !
