Long-distance bridesmaid dresses

All of my BM dresses came from David's Bridal. Davids will take your name and create a profile for you, then when the dress(es) are picked out a bride can go to any davids bridal across the country to get fitted and buy it.

Basically all wedding stores will do this for you - they will order all dresses from one store so that they are the same dye lot (i.e all the colors are the same shade). They can mail the dress to the out of state BM.Also, BrideSide will send samples to the out of state maid if you want.

I have 9 bridesmaids in 5 states, only 1 lives in the same state as me! I went with Azazie (after ordering quite a few swatches from 4 companies) and gave them a color, fabric, length to pick from. So they are picking their own dresses (all looking similar) and ordering themselves!

All of my bridesmaids got their dresses from David's Bridal. I have one bridesmaid who lives in another state and she visited her local David's Bridal, found a dress she liked (floor-length and apple red color), and ordered it in her size. I did have a profile there as I also got my wedding dress through them and my bridesmaids all saved some money since they got their dresses there as well.

We had this issue, and that's why everyone got their dress from David's Bridal to ensure the colors matched.

My bridesmaids live in 3 states and only one lives anywhere near me. I used renttherunway.com so they could all rent the same one for cheap.

I'm in the same situation. Four of my five bridesmaids are close to me, but my maid of honor lives across the country. Even with the ones who are local, it was impossible to get everyone together at one time to go shopping. We're doing a combination of two different dresses, so once it was decided who was wearing what I just made sure that they had the dress style number and color, and a picture to refer to. (Using David's Bridal, by the way.)
