Living Together Before Marriage

Lived together over a year before getting engaged. Engaged for 19 months (didn’t do anything for a few months). 1st year of living together is the toughest! Glad we already went through that. 😁 1st year marriage was much better. 💕

Within a year, we met, he followed me to a brand new city for work, bought a house and got engaged. 😳

We've been living together for 2 years and we just bought a home together in October. We've been fixing it up while we still have the apartment lease. We are officially moving into our new home right after new years and I'm so excited!

I wish we were living together! That was the plan anyway when he moved out of state for the last 2 years. So we won't be living together until after the wedding..when we move for his clinical rotations.

We have been living together 3.5 years. We wouldnt have had it any other way.

We will have been living together for 2.5 years. My dad is pastor so my parents were not happy but it was a personal decision and I wouldn't do it any different.

He purchased his house last year with my help knowing it’d be our house later on. I’ve been staying about half the week at his house because he works third shift and I don’t want to be by myself all the time. That said, I will probably move in full time after the wedding.

My FH and I have been living together for about 4 1/2 years now. I think it's a good idea to live together first. Living together is hard. It's very different when you HAVE to see this person everyday. Good and bad days. You can't say "hey I'm having a bad day, could you not be here?" You have to learn how to co exist. It's not easy and I think it's a good idea to do that first. Bc if you can't live together, you can't be married.

We knew we were going to get married from very early on, but decided we should sort out our living arrangements first. He was renting a 2 bedroom apartment, with his 2 cats. I owned a small one bedroom apartment that would not have worked for us plus cats. We put my place on the market, and bought a house a few months later. Got engaged a few months after that, after the sale of my place was finalized.

We’ve lived together since August 2017...seems like soooo much longer though

My fiance and I have lived together for over three years, we bought a house in July. We are getting married this upcoming July!

We have been together 6 years, lived together 4 1/2. He owns a house (which we live in) and I own a house (which we are renovating ourselves). We have been looking for a larger home on some acreage for at least 3 years now, but nothing has come up that is exactly right. It will be our forever home, so we want to take our time.

Yes. We've ben engaged since January 2017. We bought our house in April 2017. We are getting married October 2019. Weve lived together for 8 yrs.

We lived together for a little over 3 years before we were married. Best decision ever. I had lived with past boyfriends before and I'm so glad I lived with them before committing, because I found out super quickly who they really were and I could not stand them lol. I knew my husband was the guy I'd marry when we actually enjoyed living together and got along so well

We lived together a year before we got engaged and almost two years by the time we got married. Everyone keeps asking how married life is and now that the wedding stress is over-- its the same as when we were just engaged.

We lived with my parents after he graduated college for 3 months and closed on our house on July 6th 2018. We got married on August 18th 2018!
