Live stream?

Cassie, on July 14, 2020 at 9:59 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 4
I had recently posted that my groom and I we’re going to be reducing numbers of our guest list due to covid restrictions and many had great responses including doing a live stream. How do you do a live stream? With a phone or tablet?

You could do a cell phone, tablet, or laptop setup! Either using Zoom, Facebook live, Skype, Microsoft Teams, or any other video chat. Or alternatively, you could record the ceremony using a video camera and share it later. You can either have the device that is streaming the ceremony on a tripod or fixed setting (table, etc), or have a friend or family member holding the device.

We did zoom. Either phone or computer worked. We just asked for email addresses and phone numbers of guests who could not attend. We ended up with 50 guests at the wedding, and another 50 via zoomSmiley smile

Hi Cassie! You can use a phone, tablet, or computer - I'd use whichever one has the best camera!
