Live In The Moment

Courtney, on January 1, 2020 at 10:16 PM Posted in Community Conversations 2 9
This is what my fiance told me tonight as I was talking about wedding and honeymoon things with him. He said that I seem to get so excited about things and I just need to slow down and live in the moment with what is right in front of me because pretty soon all the things I'm excited about will be here and then it will be just a memory. This is true and something I need to realize as we begin this 2020 year!

We have been engaged since June and we pretty much have everything done.
Over the next 3 months before our wedding month arrives, I am going to try to just slow down, try my best not to stress, and just live in the moment with my fiance before this chapter closes and a new one begins!

With that being said, I am so excited to be a 2020 bride! 108 days away and almost in the single digits!

You are a planner, like me. And you can be as excited as you want. It is good advice that your fiancé is giving. It does "end" and some feel let down when the wedding and honeymoon is over. But you seem positive and upbeat and you're probably also thinking of married life after too! So many amazing experiences to come. Good luck with everything.

Hi Courtney, I can't imagine how excited you must be! I'm not until Feb. 2021 and I get crazy, I try on my dress every week, isn't that obsessed, I can't stop, and I bought 5 pairs of heels because I keep changing my mind, what's a girl to do? good luck!!!!

I'm glad my dress is still at the bridal salon so I dont have to worry about that haha. I bought one pair of heels, but I am looking for reception shoes now. I'm thinking of getting the sparkly Keds but I wonder when I would wear them again. Same goes with the heels I bought too though. Live In The Moment 1

That's the price we pay to be glamorous Courtney, buying things we'll never wear again, I have to have padded cups built into my dress now, I'm between an A and B cup and I look to flat, and I can't find the right bra, if you care to see my shoes, TBDRESS, POINTED TOE PEARL LACE WEDDING SHOE, style
    ****, l would love your opinion ❤️

Ah I wish I could've just had cups sewn in, but I'm too blessed I guess lol. The seamstress said cups wouldnt provide enough support so I had to get a corset bra.

I don't know if I'll like the look, I'd rather wear a sexy lace bra but the 40 band size cups are to big for my A nearly B boobs!!!!

That's such good advice. I took a break from wedding planning after I realized so much of my life was being taken for wedding planning.
