Live centerpiece arrangements.

One of the things we are doing is our center pieces will be replanted and it’s also a raffle option certain name tags will have the opportunity to win the centerpiece. I recently reached out to a few local florists and they keep telling me single type ( all tulips or all daffodils) are 100$ per plant. are you kidding me… is that too much or is that normal for a living bulb plant?

Waaaayyyy too much!!! You can buy potted plants from any big box store and it will have several plants growing in it. One thing about them though, if you repot they will droop so not a.look you want to have. But, there are reasonable ones out there. Just look around a but more. Good luck!

That seems awfully high.... You could look into buying plants from a store or nursery around you. That would also give you a chance to increase variety of plant types! I would probably keep them in their planters and then simply place those into some nice vases or pots for your centerpieces. Then you could pretty easily repot/replant them after they've been auctioned off to guests or yourself!

PS- I love this idea. I'm a huge plant fan and just yesterday went to the store and bought a couple of the components of the bouquet that I had for our wedding last month in Puerto Rico. It makes me happy to see wedding plants- even if they aren't the exact ones that I had. I think that having live plants at your wedding that you or guests can replant is a fantastic way to keep the memories alive!!
