Little errands

I have a 12 year old girl whose two younger sisters are the flower girl and ring bearer. She will not be a junior bridesmaid, but I'm trying to find a way where she can be more involved. Can anyone think of little errands or jobs I could have her do on the day of?

Could she perhaps do a reading? Like a poem or something during the ceremony ?

You're going to need someone to communicate between the bride side and the groom side. If you are getting ready in the same place, she would be an excellent messenger. If you're not in the same place, maybe she can be in charge of the texting?
There are so many little things that need to be communicated day-of, from timing to info from the photographer. (Photog to me: kiss twice, so I can get a good shot. Me to bridesman: tell DH that we have to kiss twice according to photog. Bridesman to DH: kiss her twice. Me, after I found out what he said to DH: *&(*&!&!&^@!!!!! I HAD A WHOLE SENTENCE THERE.)
We also had to round up people as they went off to bathrooms or take pictures, or find special guests... a 12 year old sounds perfect for that - old enough to do things on their own, young enough to want to please.

I love the idea of an in-between communicator while everyone is getting ready! She can also help escort people to their seats - I would think that was the cutest thing to be seated by a little munchkin all dressed up!
