Little Bride Dress

Is it normal for the Little Brides’s dress to be the similar to the brides dress? We are not having flower girls and my little cousin will be the lil bride and her Mom (my aunt) is asking me if there is anything specific she should wear l. I have no clue. My dress is ivory and white, has a chained back, beads and crystals. Idk if there is a Lil Bride dress like that that the mom can buy at the store. Help plz, what should the little bride wear if this is my dress? Or we shouldnt make it a big deal?

The ring bearer is going to wear the exact thing as my FH but it’s a lot easier to match for males. Feel free to attach some pictures of your own little bride.

    I thought it was another name for flower girl, such as ring bearer is for little groom. When I looked it up, that’s pretty much what the few articles said.

    I’ve never heard of little bride or little groom. Flower girls and ring bearers don’t have to match the bride and groom

    I have never heard of a little bride. But from reading that article that was posted, I would say no they don't have to match you. I would probably do an ivory colored dress with lace over lays.

    I think you should pick out an age appropriate dres for a child to wear. There are plenty of flower girl dresses to choose from.

    Im not someone who approves of the little bride thing. To me it’s inappropriate and kind of creepy. Children should not be forced into imitating that type of relationship. So my
    vote goes toward age appropriate clothing and not an exact replica of your dress.

    I'm so confused by the little bride concept and I'm not really a fan of it. A little girl needs to wear something age appropriate. Not made up to look like a little adult. I would suggest looking at children's stores. That's where I got my flower girls dress.

    I Love your Wedding Dress its so beautiful. I don't think the Little Bride should Look like you. The children should be dressed Different. I think yall shouldn't stress or make a big deal. All of your guests will be Looking at Bride and Groom getting married.

    I will clarify by saying Little/Junior bride. We are not having flower girls or page boys, but we few want a few kids involved.
    Thanks all for the input ! I will let my aunt know to just find any white dress for my cousin.

    Its where they dress up a small child (usually around flower girl age) as an exact replica of the bride. Soemtimes with a boy the same age as a Jr Groom. They even include like veils and such..


    IMO its very creepy and not appropriate for young kids.

    Google is also a great resource to see different looks or descriptions for Little/Jr brides. If you just go to google.com and search in the search bar for Little/Jr brides. More info can be found there. You can also search by images or places to shop. There are even filters for color, price, seller... Bing.com is also helpful.

    To me, the main difference is she would not throw flower petals down the aisle and would possibly walk with the Ring Bearer? I honestly don't know but I think it's cute overall and we plan to do it.

    Your dress is gorgeous! As for the "little bride" I think it's a creepy and inappropriate. Is there a reason she can't be a flower girl?

    Yeaaah, this is exactly what I thought when I read this post lol. Your dress is beautiful Kennyeh, but a child should wear age appropriate attire, not a "wedding dress" because they are not getting married.
