Literally 3 weeks away....

ALSpit, on August 24, 2017 at 9:35 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 2 18

For those who recently got married or have been married for a while, what did you do 3 weeks prior to the wedding? I'm driving myself insane thinking about all of the things that I have done so far and whether if I need anything else. Please do mention anything that comes to mind that a bride may forget.. I work 12 hour days (working with children) so by the time I get home, I'm wiped AF. Any advice would be awesome and amazing because two weekends from now, we will be packing and driving up to NJ for the wedding week! The last thing I want is to end up leaving something behind. Ha. Thank you all in advance with lots of love <3

We worked on putting cake stands together, folding napkins with silverware, putting bridesmaids bags together, fluffing bows, making lists of where things go for the helpers that don't know, looking up honeymoon things to do. Cleaning house

All of those little things you can do ahead of time makes it easier! Hope this helped

Hello date twin @AlSpit. I'm making follow-up phone calls to all my vendors this weekend. I'm also going to get my dress and veil pressed. My goals is to be stress free the week of the wedding. I want to look radiant the day of my wedding!

Im 3 weeks out (tomorrow) and am pretending everything is fine and no problems exist. Thats a good tactic, right? lololol. ahhhhhh. Each time I allow the details and plans to creep into my thoughts I nearly lose my mind with stress!

Right now, we are finalizing details with vendors, and nailing down an official timeline.

My biggest worry is how I am going to get things done wedding week. Lots to do, lots of organization and lots of details. That week (I fear) is going to be a disaster. The impending doom.. So today I am pretending everything is fine, and no problems exist.

Lolol mine is tomorrow. Marriage license, gifts for wedding party and parents or whoever, seating chart, make sure people with food allergies have something to eat. Figure out a timeline for day of and email it to everyone. I had to book at appt to board my dog. These are just things ive been doing Thr last week or so . Practice first dance lol.

This might sound silly, but I have a list of clothes for the week of the wedding. My FH and I are going to be at a big house with our BP 2 days before the wedding and 1 day after, so I have a list of stuff I need. So I'm not just wearing my wedding dress and rehearsal outfit! Also I've put all my bridal stuff in a bag, jewelry, shoes, deodorant, hair spray, lotion, shoes, vail so its all together so I can't forget anything!!

3 weeks out as well!!! Right now I'm just doing the little details such as signs, following up with vendors, marriage license next week, getting nail appointments set, and the biggest item now-- writing wedding vows. I can't believe how close we are! Smiley smile

Overnight bag!! Just added that to my list, along with boarding arrangements for dog--the latter is FH's responsibility, actually, but I don't think he's done it yet, so I will bug him Smiley smile
