Lipstick that won't rub off

Davistobe, on June 17, 2017 at 9:09 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 31

Any suggestions for brands or certain type of lipstick that won't rub off on my groom? Looking for a nude/neutral color and probably a matte finish.

I've seen the advertisements for lipsense but spending 60 dollars on one color of lipstick seems extreme. And I don't know people (outside those who sell it) that have actually tried it.

Thanks!

Motives but you have to use the primer and sealer after but it is super fast and the palettes are pretty.

Kat Von D had a liquid matte lipstick that I love. Doesn't rub off and there are a bunch of different nudes

Get a lip stain!! My makeup artist suggested it and I actually love it! Sephora has there own brand that isn't expensive and has lots of colors. Best advice I have gotten hands down.

I tried the lipsense. Personally, I didn't like it BUT it did stay on (WAY after I wanted it OFF!). For the wedding I'm using Jane Iredale - it lasted 5 hours on one coat, didn't rub off on anything (including glassware/silverware), and came off when I wanted it off.

ColourPop liquid lipsticks, ****%! If you want transfer-proof, you'll definitely have to go with a matte finish. Check out their website (www.colourpop.com). They're typically between $5-6 each and they have a really good shade range. I believe you get some % off your first purchase as well. I have a bunch of products (including liquid lips that DON'T BUDGE) and love all of them.

    Good luck!

I used Kat Von D and only touched up because it felt a touch dry, not because it wore off..

I also considered the infallible line from revlon but I didn't like any of their colors - but those wouldn't transfer or come off for nothing

I like elf brand. It transfers at first, but once it "dries" it stays pretty well.

Urban decay vice liquid lipstick. The shade backtalk is a pretty neutral lip color!

My favorite lipstick ever is Lipstick Queen. It lasts a long time, despite not being a "long wear" formula, and it keeps my lips from drying out and looking flaky. MAC is another brand that knows what they're doing with lipstick. Prep your lips properly, and it'll last just fine.

I love Make-Up Forever aqua XL liner in 14c nice neutral color. I pair it with urban decay vice lipstick. Non-drying (for real) and super stay power. Good luck.

Check our Huda liquid matte lipstick from Sephora! They're so long lasting; once the color sets (about 30-45 seconds) it lasts for HOURS.

Jane Iredale lipstain with gloss! Lasts pretty much all day! Maybe not as much when kissin' your hubby, but for the most part, the coloring stays on!

Definitely use a liquid lippy! I love the Kat Von D ones but for a more budget friendly brand the NYX is really great too. But my trick is to get a lip liner the shade of the lipstick and fill in your entire lip. This really helps the color to last all day!

Victoria's Secret has velvet matte lip stains that I love, you have to let them dry first and then they last all day and night and won't rub off on groom
