Lip gloss or matte lips?

I'm doing matte only because half of my hair will be down and I know that whole half would be stuck to my face if I had gloss

I like that gloss gives that shimmery look but i like how matte doesn't come off as easy and isn't so messy. I'm guna have to agree with Carolyn, my hair will be down as well.

I worry about gloss getting all over fh... ugh. I'm considering matte for this reason.

Im not a lip gloss kind of person so matte for me. if you're worried about the color coming off I recommend the chanel rouge double intensite lip ones. one side is the color and the clear side adds the shine. that stuff does not come off!

Matte. Normally I do gloss, but I don't think FH wants that on him

I have hated gloss since I was a teen. I'm doing a matte stain because I plan to kiss my FH nonstop and he hates the feeling of lipstick on his face

Doing a matte lipstick with a lip balm over it that I will keep on me.

I love glossy lips, but i will probably go with matte because it lasts longer.

I'm wearing chapstick. I'll use a light pink lip gloss for formals. FH has issues with getting lip crap on his lips, and I find both lipstick and gloss to feel annoying (I end up running my lips together almost constantly because I hate the way it feels). So no lip products for the ceremony or reception.

I'm an older bride and imo matte lipstick is not flattering on me. It just makes me look even older and (LOL) dried up. So I've been on the hunt for a lip product that stays on and doesn't look so dry. So far Stila's All Day Liquid Lipstick in the color "Dolce" looks like it might be the best choice for me. It has good staying power and doesn't blot off.

Matte. I never wear gloss. I might do some chapstick over it to prevent it from getting dry.

Matte! Gloss is distracting IMO

I am doing matte my FH hates when I wear lip gloss because when he kisses me it gets on his lips.

I want a matte because less longer and don't transfer to your FH lips, I am actually going to Chanel to pick my lipstick, I love their colors and make up.

I just did matte for the Epics and loved it. Held up well to kissing!

I will do reg lipstick. One of my fave color is from Chrisian Dior, Ill probably go with that one.

I mean if you want to look like Cher all day- wear gloss.

I swear by Revlon color stay! It literally stays all day and it comes with a gloss to rehydrate your lips throughout the day. I already wear this in a bunch of colors on a regular basis so i already know i love it but i recommend practicing putting it on and wearing it around. Also i can kiss my man with it on! I will most likely be wearing the color everlasting rum. Its neutral with a pop of pinkish and ive sooo many compliments on the color. It is VERY hard to scrub off but i discovered the magic of chapstick, vasoline, or coconut oil does the trick.
