Lip Gloss?? Lip Stick??

Alright Ladies, I am currently trying to decide which I want, what brand works best, and which will last the longest?! FH hates lip stick but personally I am up for options. I think I want to go with lip gloss but I also do not wear either on a daily basis. I just want something simple and more of a neutral or very light pink color. Plus, wearing something shiny with a hint of color also makes for better pictures I have learned. Need opinions and suggestions of what you ladies recommend. THANKS!
