Lingerie/pajama bridal shower / pamper the bride shower

If you go with a lingerie shower, I'd save it for a bachelorette style party. I certainly wouldn't want my grandma there while I open bras and panties!

I might be in the minority but the way I see it, its no one's business what lingerie I wear for my FH and I'd be pretty embarrassed to have anyone tell me their opinion of what kind of lingerie I should wear. I don't care if we are BFF's, I'm an adult, I don't need adults who won't see me in it to buy me lingerie. The only person I will accept lingerie from is my FH.

I received lingerie for my shower and I looked at it but didn't open it. I wouldn't say it's inappropriate but I just wouldn't be too comfortable with it.

@Becky I feel the same! In fact, I don't even like FH to buy me any of that. First of all I hardly wear it, second, I like to choose EVERYTHING I wear by myself. Like I even custom designed my e-ring. If I have to wear it, no one else's opinion matters to me but mine.

Cute idea! I do think it's nice to have a PJ option for someone who didn't want to get lingerie. My friends had a lingerie shower for my bachelorette, and my SIL said she felt too weird buying lingerie basic my for her brother lol so she got me some awesome bath & body works/pampering type items which would also definitely fit the theme! I'm not shy so I would not mind opening those things in front of close friends and family but it would definitely depend on the bride.

My bachelorette party was my lingerie shower as well. I had thought about doing lingerie shower as part of my bridal luncheon, but decided that since my girls had spent enough already and that my grandma was going to be there it was best to just have it with my friends.
