Great question! I was thinking both too! At least some sexy undies since my dress is backless. I know we’re gonna be really tired after such a big day. We’re getting married on a Saturday & flying out the Monday after.

It's kind of awkward to take off a wedding dress, so you probably won't want to take it off in the bathroom, which most likely means you'll be taking it off in front of him. If you take your dress off in front of him, he's not going to be interested in anything else you say you want to put on.

I agree with others. I would save it for the honeymoon. We were easy too tired after the wedding anyway. That and he had to help me out of my dress anyway so it would be weird to then go into the bathroom to put on lingerie.

I would definitely save it for the honeymoon! I heard for the most part couples are too tired the night of anyway.

I would say the honeymoon? I don’t know how your wedding schedule is, but some newly weds have it all day full with stuff they just can’t wait to sleep without doing it 😂 - I am planing for a destination wedding, so my honeymoon starts right after the intimate wedding. I am taking a load of lingeries and “toys” as 🔥surprise 😉

The following happened on our wedding night:

DH lovingly helps me out of giant dress, and to take a gazillion hairpins out of my hair.

I wash my face, DH folds up rented tux.

We smile.

We keel over into bed and don't wake up until noon? 1PM? I dunno. DH did manage to wake up before me and got us breakfast, but I was most certainly unconscious for the better part of 10 hours.

Both! Wore lingerie the night of the wedding and when we go away to the poconos in November I'll be buying more 😉

I'd save it for the honeymoon. My guess is your wedding night may run late and you want time to get all sexy looking for that outfit.

😂 thanks everyone, this is what I was thinking too. I know we’re going to be tired and we will be getting up pretty early the next day so I think I will skip it for the wedding night.

I bought lingerie for both the wedding night and the honeymoon. I couldn't wear it under my wedding dress and by the time we got to the hotel after the wedding it was almost 2am and we were both exhausted so I didn't even change into it.

Honestly, our honeymoon ended up not being super romantic (it was a lot of fun though) so I only pulled it out once during the trip.

That’s a question I’m also considering! But seeing as my dress doesn’t really have the ability to have anything underneath..I’m debating whether I wanna take the time to change or not lol. I’m thinking to just save it for the trip haha
