Lingerie shower - leave tags on?

Hi, so I don't often give gifts that have tags involved, usually just a little sticker on the bottom or something. I'm going to a friends lingere shower next week and I started wondering what to do about the tag situation. I'm including a gift receipt, but whats it worth if there are no tags on the item? Also, I feel like lingere should have the tags on because it makes it look newer and nicer (even though obviously its new). Should I black out the price with a marker or something? Or should I just leave the tag as is?

I definitely think you should leave them on and either black out or snip off the price part if you don't want it to show. As long as the barcode is visible they should be able to return it without an issue.

I've noticed many stores put the price on the bottom of the tag, and then it's perforated to easily remove the price part. So you can just tear if off if it's perforated, and if not, blacking it out with a sharpie is fine too.

That's what we do if we're gifting clothing - we snip off the price part leaving the barcode and include a gift receipt.

Definitely leave the tags on. With any clothing gifts, the recipient needs to be able to return the item in case it doesn't for right or it isn't flattering on their body. Just black out the price at the bottom of the tag, snip off the very bottom of the tag where the price is listed, or tear it off if the price part of the tag is perforated (lots of tags have the price on a perforated section of the tag for this reason).

Leave the tags on and either black out the price with a marker, or if the price is at the bottom of the tag just clip or tear that part off.
